YSL Y EDP is a modern aromatic-fougere launched in 2018 by perfumer Dominique Ropion, combining crisp top notes of green apple, bergamot, and ginger with a clean, herbaceous heart featuring sage, geranium, and juniper berries, before settling into a warm, slightly sweet base of amberwood, tonka bean, cedar, vetiver, and olibanum (frankincense)
It begins with a fresh, juicy apple-ginger burst that quickly transitions into a more aromatic and spicy middle. The dry-down is smooth and modern, balancing clean sweetness with subtle earthy woods
